📌 What is this test?
This test measures the levels of 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (calcitriol), the active form of Vitamin D, in the blood. It helps regulate calcium, phosphorus, and bone metabolism.

📌 Normal Ranges
Adults: 16 - 65 pg/mL
Children: 25 - 86 pg/mL

📌 What can affect the levels?
🔼 Increased Levels:
✔️ Hyperparathyroidism
✔️ Sarcoidosis or other granulomatous diseases
✔️ Certain lymphomas
✔️ Excessive Vitamin D intake
🔽 Decreased Levels:
❌ Kidney disease
❌ Vitamin D deficiency
❌ Hypoparathyroidism
❌ Liver disease
